What struck me more is the pragmatism and structure she brought to my professional dilemmas and the thoroughness with which she gave it thought before giving me advise. There was a stage when my professional growth seemed to have plateaued, and I wasn’t able to get through to my senior management on how to carve out an opportunity for me. Joy sat down with me and worked on several scenario-based arguments and prepared responses to possible questions my manager may have.
